Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is the polymer of vinyl chloride and one of the most widely used plastics in the world. Among its advantages: it is easily recyclable with suitable plants and highly versatile, as it can be turned into rigid (u-PVC), semi-rigid and plasticised articles (p-PVC, enriched with additives that increase softness). It is also self-extinguishing: it stops burning once the flame source is removed.
All of Daloga's PVC is recycled from post-industrial waste. Both grades are lead-free: we were among the first in Italy to offer PVC stabilised with calcium-zinc, in line with directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS). They also comply with REACH regulations and, having control of the supply chain, we can issue on request declarations of EU preferential origin.
