Daloga's soft PVC is available in black and grey, but also in white: a high-value granule because, recycled, it is rarer today than in the past. Its regeneration requires very careful selection of the starting regrind; the result is a pure, perfect white, almost indistinguishable from virgin material.
The addition of plasticisers gives a lower density than rigid PVC, making it more flexible and suitable for flexible pipes, gaskets, electrical cables, tarpaulins and coatings. It is characterised mainly by Shore A: the lower it is, the softer the compound. Our plasticised PVCs are available in a range from Shore A 50 to 93.
PVC is already self-extinguishing but, with the addition of a flame retardant (antimony trioxide, Sb₂O₃), we can make it on request compliant with V0, V1 and V2 standards.
